In Law School women make up:
46.8% of first year students
46.7% of total J.D. enrollment
47.3% of total J.D.'s awarded
In Law Reviews women make up:
42% of leadership positions in the top 50 schools
44% of leadership positions in the New York Law School Law Review
Women's weekly salaries in 2011 were on average $1,631 compared to Men at $1,884 . Comparing this to 2004 where women in average made $1,255 and men made an average $1,710 per week. From this we can see the salary gap has become smaller but there is still a major difference in the weekly salaries between men and women in the legal profession.
The American Bar Association to this point has inaugurated five women presidents, including Laurel Bellows the 2012-2013 president
